2018 Compass after 3 years
By iceroads | on Friday, December 11, 2020
Living in the VT mountains have had similar small AWD SUVs and if your wife having to walk home in an ice storm is cool with you go for one of those. I never write reviews but after reading all the bad ones for the Compass I guess I was motivated to correct the disinformation. If you want a small, affordable, easy to drive comfortable SUV that actually becomes a true 4x4 ice and snow machine when you need it to be get the 4x4 Compass. There is not another option like it in this price range. If you live in Florida or southern California and give this SUV a bad review please go for it so the folks that actually need a capable small SUV can get used ones at reasonable prices.… - 5.0

Car had powertrain issues
By Cute car. Faulty car | on Monday, November 25, 2019
Very cute car and it drives well, I got the 4x4 in dark gray. I was a little disappointed that I got a faulty car but the dealer was able to fix the problem. I got the car on a Friday evening, by Sunday the car was having issues! The engine turned off on me and all the interior lights were flashing, I tried turning the whole car off but it wasn't turning off. I waited and was bale to turn it off and back on, the engine light came on after that and the car did that 3 times. I took it back to the dealer Monday morning because the service department was close Sunday. I did not get to experience the joy of driving my new car, that was terrible! When I got my car back a week later my "brand new car" was all dirty and dusty on the outside and when I drove off the tire pressure and windshield fluid lights came on! It was so disappointing! I am still bothered by it. I know that the car issue was not the dealers problem but I feel like they should of been more understanding and should of contacted me the same week I took my car in. I contacted Jeep and the manager emailed me and said they would talk to the dealer and make sure that the car gets fixed but that was pretty much all they did. I am very disappointed with this car now. I would never buy a Jeep again.…
